Become a Member

AVI is the largest informatics association in the veterinary profession.

AVI membership grants voting rights and access to exclusive member content, including: the AVI On Demand Education Portal powered by VetBloom, exclusive member directory, past Talbot Symposia details, and newsletter archive.

Renew a Membership FAQ

Full Members (Individual) Automatic recurring payments went into effect January 1, 2019.

Our website automatically sets Full Members to auto-renew; however, you may cancel the recurring payment at any time by logging into your member portal. (Canceling the recurring payment feature will not affect your membership level or member status.) You will receive an email if your payment method information needs to be updated. You will still receive reminders that your membership is about to renew.

Corporate (Organization) Recurring payments are NOT available for Corporate (Organization) Members. Only the Bundle Administrator for your membership may complete the renewal, due to system limitations.

Please email secretary@avinformatics.org if you need assistance updating the bundle administrator or converting to an individual membership.

Contact (Free) Adds you to our email list and will require you to "renew" every 3 years on January 1st, so that we know you'd like to stay in the know!

Consider becoming a paid member for access to premium resources and to be eligible to serve on committees and vote.

Student (Free) membership will require you to "renew" every year on January 1st, so that we know you are still enrolled in a program and interested in hearing from us. Graduating? Don't forget to convert to a Contact or Full member and/or add your new email address to your profile.

Student membership - Free Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments Non dues paying; no voting rights; receipt of newsletter; eligible for committees (not eligible for Chair); access to on demand education portal powered by VetBloom
